A BITE OF PASSION

THE WORK | Concept development, Edible installation design, Culinary & Graphic art direction.

Bite of Passion was created for the Function of a Bite culinary exhibition, in collaboration with Chef Roy Sofer. The goal was to design a bite that embodies passion—both in its appearance and the sensory experience it evokes. The central idea revolved around using a carefully cleaned, polished, and refined bone as the vessel for the bite, symbolizing raw, primal desire.

The bone was meticulously cleaned, carved, and its grooves filled with a red chili caramel, creating a subtle burning sensation when the lips made contact. Inside, the bone was filled with a silky bitter almond cream, topped with two delicate spheres of mango and mandarin that burst with flavor in the mouth. The experience was designed to express passion, encouraging the eater to savor the bite slowly, layer by layer, like a prolonged, passionate kiss.
