MEMORIES FROM THE FUTURE

THE WORK | Concept creation, Edible installation design, Graphic Design.

Originally created for the Venice Design Biennale 2025, under the theme Extinction / Salvation, this edible installation explores the quiet disappearance of ingredients that once shaped our kitchens, memories, and senses.

At its core, the installation gives each ingredient a voice allowing it to “speak” from a near future in which it may no longer exist, and to share a memory of itself before disappearance. Alongside each narrative, a corresponding taste is offered, enabling visitors to experience the material in the present while encountering its possible future absence.

Memories from the Future reimagines these ingredients through contemporary edible forms,
turning future loss into a present sensory experience that fuses cultural memory with design.
