ZOOM IN HUMUS

THE WORK | Curation & concept, edible installation design, exhibition design, project management

The ZOOM-IN HUMUS exhibition on hummus was a culinary exhibition held at the Benyamini Contemporary Ceramics Centre, bringing together three central disciplines – design, cuisine, and science – manifested in various ways in the fields of nutrition and food.

This multidisciplinary combo focused on redesigning the context of hummus to broaden its consumption methods and enhance the hidden benefits of this humble food.

The exhibition encompassed three dimensions: graphic works that presents the scientific and historical identity of hummus, practical utensils related to its consumption and processing methods, and culinary edible installations that combined new recipes and eating experience designed for them.
